Sharing files has just become easier with drop.io. It’s a totally free private space where you can upload files and share them with anyone. Simply create your “drop” by entering a name, uploading your files (up to 100 MB for free—any file type is fine, including video and music), setting a guest password and permissions (only if you want to), and you’re done.

You will now have a url which can be emailed to anyone you like, so that they can access your files.

drop.io also provides a complete collaborative workspace where you can leave messages, post links, comment on documents, make changes, download and re-upload documents, even call in to leave a voice message or fax a document to the drop. You can also set a time for your drop to expire, and for all files to be deleted.

You can invite people to subscribe to your drop to be emailed when new content is posted. You can even integrate with Twitter, or create an RSS feed for your drop.
