Searching the internet can reveal tons of information about any topic—some good, some bad, and some just downright funny. But sometimes if you have a pressing business question, you just need an answer from a reputable source, and don’t have the time or the inclination to sift through terabytes of search results to find it.

Try LinkedIn Answers.

Anyone can browse and read the posted questions and answers. The link takes you directly to the Small Business section, but definitely do look at the other categories as well. If you create a LinkedIn account (it’s not that onerous, and you can choose to fill in only very basic information about yourself), you can search the database, and can ask your own questions—as well as answer others’ questions.

Of course, you need to do due diligence on determining the credibility of the answers you receive, but LinkedIn is largely a community of business professionals who want to share their experiences. Give it a try.
