Get the Small Business 411

The NFIB (National Federation of Independent Businesses) Research Foundation routinely surveys small businesses as part of producing their ongoing National Small Business Poll publication.

The 411 Small Business Facts site compiles all this data, collected from 2001 through the present, into a single searchable database.

You can type a search query such as “health insurance”, or select from a list of categories and keywords. You are then presented with questions from polls along with responses. So, for example, if you’re interested in knowing how many small business owners have health insurance, you’d find that according to a 2003 poll, 91% have it, 37% provide it directly via the business, and 19% use a spouse’s coverage.
