Credit and Accounts Receivable—Benchmark Your Business

You probably have a handle on cash flow, accounts receivables, and collections for your business. But do you know how you compare to other businesses in your industry or to other small businesses in general? If you’d like to find out, participate in the Credit Research Foundation’s (CRF) Benchmarking survey.

Participation is completely free, and when you submit data for your company you get a benchmarking report in return. The report compares your organization's performance against the other businesses who have submitted data. The comparison is broken down by your business unit group; your specific industry in general or a specific industry group, workload volume; sales volume; customer volume; and transaction volume.

You can view a sample report prior to submitting your information. You can also print the survey in advance and then go online to complete it. You'll typically receive an email with your report in about 24 hours after submitting the survey.

The CRF will use your data in its own reports, and it will be included in benchmarking reports created for other participants. However, your business information will be kept confidential and your company name will not be disclosed to anyone. Read the CRF confidentiality statement here.
