Team PaySimple Raises $35,000 to Fight Multiple Sclerosis
DENVER, CO, June 30, 2008– PaySimple, the leading provider of on-demand electronic payment solutions for small businesses, is proud to announce that Team PaySimple Prime Movers, who rode in the 23rd Annual Great-West Life Bike MS, Colorado's Ride 2008, raised over $35,000 to fight multiple sclerosis. An estimated 3,000 cyclists rode to raise the new goal of $2.9 million. The ride encompassed 150 miles over two days, starting June 28, 2008. Cyclists rode 75 miles from Front Range Community College in Westminster, Colorado to Ft. Collins, Colorado and returned to the college the following day.
With 82 cents of every dollar raised going to the cause, the Bike MS tour is an efficient and fun way to raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The event not only generates needed funds for society programs and creates awareness for the cause, but it also inspires and gives hope to the 400,000 Americans living with MS every day.
