Bike MS 2008
The 23rd Annual Great-West Life Bike MS, Colorado's Ride
Team PaySimple Prime Movers will be riding in the 23rd Annual Great-West Life Bike MS, Colorado's Ride 2008. Last year, this chapter raised over $2.5 million, and this year an estimated 3,000 cyclists will ride to raise the new goal of $2.9 million. The ride encompasses 150 miles over two days, starting June 28, 2008. Cyclists will ride 75 miles from Front Range Community College in Westminster, Colorado to Ft. Collins, Colorado and will return to the college the following day. Though each rider has a minimum pledge commitment of $300, the average rider goes above and beyond that amount. Team PaySimple Prime Movers' 47 riders have a group goal of raising $20,000 in pledges.
With 82 cents of every dollar raised going to the cause, the Bike MS tour is an efficient and fun way to raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The event not only generates needed funds for society programs and creates awareness for the cause, but it also inspires and gives hope to the 400,000 Americans living with MS every day.
