This article is a great eye opener for many who have not experienced the merchant account procedures before. It is nice to have someone blog about this! I review online merchant accounts on my site and I have some helpful articles and resources. I'm going to link to your blog from my site as a resource. Check out my site at www.honestmerchantreport.info, and link to it as well if you think it worthy.

A very important but seldom talked about topic regarding credit card acceptance guidelines. Consumers are often portrayed as the victim in these stories, but there are two sides to every coin. This is very useful information, how you can avoid having this happen to you.

Fantastic article! I've been telling business owners for years about these three things. I think that you're the first to write about it. I'll have to link to it from my blog because you've already said it clearly here. See dollar stores and variety stores do these things all the time. People have to realise what you get. Let's say you sell flowers, but don't take credit cards to save on fees. I go somewhere else and spend $40. So you save 80cents at 2% of $40 by LOSING a $40 sale. And are you really losing cash? How much of that 80cents can your accountant write off?
